The Crescent Street Hustlers are a Montreal based dance collective on a mission to modernize and revive the Canadian disco scene, celebrating the great dance music that thrived in that city primarily in the late 1970s, at the height of the global disco explosion. One of Canada's most prolific disco producers, the Montréal based songwriter, record company executive and producer Tony Green was at the forefront of the Canadian disco scene, operating under a number of aliases - one of which was the group known as Colorblind, who scored a hit with the track "Kalei-Disco" in 1977. On their latest single, Crescent Street Hustlers pay tribute with their own version of the classic track, while still holding true to it's original essence with an updated sound aimed at both the modern dance music fan and the traditionalists, featuring 3 exclusive mixes including an extended mix plus a bonus stripped-down element mix to keep things interesting.
